Leann Yuen

Leann Yuen is a partner in KPMG Sydney’s Financial Services Practice and is a driven and adaptable individual with over 14 years of experience working across banking, insurance (life, general, health and reinsurance), asset management, airports, share plans, and federal government agencies such as the Australian Office of Financial Management, Australian Reinsurance Pool Corporation and more recently the Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation.

Leann has extensive experience in leading audits of private and public companies in Australia. She has a strong understanding of public and private company reporting requirements, corporate governance, and International Financial Reporting Standards, and appreciates the full spectrum of an organisation’s financial reporting processes, risks and the importance of working together with all internal stakeholders.

Throughout her career, Leann has developed consistently strong relationships at Boards, Audit & Risk Committees, and Executives and has established and led high performance teams.

Leann was educated at Molong Central School in Central West NSW, then graduated with a Commerce degree (majoring in Accounting and Finance) from Sydney University, before joining KPMG and completing her Chartered Accountancy qualification with the Chartered Accountants of Australia and New Zealand.

Leann is married to Kenny and together they have a son and a daughter.
