$50Â can help provide essentials like groceries, toiletries or transport for someone in crisis.
$125Â can help fund meals, warm clothing and hygiene packs through one of our community partners.
$250Â could help a person or family access temporary accommodation and vital support services.
$500Â can help a family facing homelessness find emergency accommodation and case management support.

How We Help
Every year, the Sisters of Charity Foundation is able to make a difference to thousands of people across the country with funds generously donated by compassionate Australians.
We support initiatives that receive little or no funding from other sources, that benefit disadvantaged, marginalised and socially isolated people in our community; no matter their religion, ethnicity, gender, age or ability. Join us in forging a society where anyone who experiences disadvantage or social isolation can count on swift, practical and compassionate assistance.
Community Grants
We provide grants of up to $20,000 to incredible community organisations and programs that support those experiencing disadvantage or marginalisation.
Scholarships
We help disadvantaged young people from out-of-home care backgrounds transform their lives through tertiary education.
Support for Asylum Seekers
We provide housing assistance and casework support to refugees and people seeking asylum through our program partners the Asylum Seekers Centre and the House of Welcome.
Housing for Modern Slavery Survivors
We partner with The Salvation Army to provide transitional housing assistance for survivors of modern slavery and human trafficking in Australia.
Community Care
We provide support to families in remote, rural and regional New South Wales and Queensland who have been badly affected by droughts, bushfires, floods and general economic downturn.

Our Impact
In 1838, the Sisters of Charity landed in Australia. Their mission: to devote themselves to the poor and marginalised by providing compassion, hope and practical assistance.
