Board MembersFiona Archer spent three years as an auditor with Ernst and Young and two years in Peat Marwick Mitchell Management Consulting. In 1986 she joined Prudential Bache as a Mining Equity Analyst in Melbourne and New York. She spent six years with Ord Minnett in London and Sydney prior to moving into investment banking with Resource Finance Corporation and Burdett, Buckeridge and Young. In 1998 Fiona changed careers to become a wealth adviser with UBS Wealth Management. She joined JBWere in 2009.
As an adviser who has sat on for-purpose boards for over 25 years, Fiona brings a unique perspective to providing holistic financial advisory services to the for-purpose sector. ‘To be an effective adviser in this sector you need more than just investment skills; you must be passionate and understand the mission of the organisation.’ Since 1998, Fiona has advised for-purpose organisations on corporate governance, policy development, cash flow management, portfolio development and investment management.
Fiona is currently a zone coordinator for The Salvation Army Red Shield Appeal, is on the Queen’s Club Finance Committee, the Bell Shakespeare Development Committee and is a Director of the Girls and Boys Brigade.
