Derestia Youkhanna

Passionate about philanthropy and supporter relationships, Derestia Youkhanna has worked in the nonprofit sector since 2017, including for the National Breast Cancer Foundation, Caritas Australia, and Médecins Sans Frontières.

As Fundraising and Development Manager, Derestia is responsible for the development and execution of strategies that ensure the Foundation’s long term sustainability, as well as cultivating strong and enduring partnerships, inspiring generosity, and deepening the connection between the Foundation’s supporters and mission.

Derestia has a Bachelor of Political, Economic and Social Sciences from the University of Sydney, where she majored in Government and International Relations, and Anthropology.

Derestia and her husband Maartin have a young son and daughter together.
